Safeguarding Policy
Locksmith work brings partners into contact with people at vulnerable moments — locked out at night, after a burglary, during domestic difficulty. Our safeguarding expectations:
- Partners must take extra care with customers who appear vulnerable, confused or under duress, and must not exploit urgency or distress in pricing or sales.
- Where a partner suspects a customer is at risk of harm (domestic abuse, exploitation, self-neglect), they should complete the job safely and report concerns to us; we maintain a safeguarding log and will involve appropriate authorities where necessary.
- Entry must never be provided to someone who cannot demonstrate authority over the property, however plausible their account, where doubt exists — partners should decline and advise contacting the police if appropriate.
- Concerns can be reported confidentially to safeguarding@prioritylocksmiths.co.uk and are reviewed by a senior administrator.
